Workflow states describe global, system-wide, domain-independent productions phases.

Introduction

This Master data section creates and maintains workflow states. Workflow states serve two purposes:

  • detailed regulation of the user permissions according to workflow steps

  • the visualization of hierarchical status dependencies.

Details

Warning: Do not use workflow state IDs in the range from 900.000 to 1.000.000. There can be a data loss of custom workflows states with one of these IDs. They can be overwritten if the censhare dedicated solutions are installed or updated.

  • ID: Unique ID of the workflow state.

  • Name: Visible representation of the workflow state (in all defined system languages).

  • Description: Descriptive text for the workflow state (in all defined system languages). Is not visible to the users.

  • Colour: Display color of the workflow step. This color is used in miscellaneous views in the censhare Client to visualize the state.
