For security reasons, the possibilities of configuration are restricted in the censhare Client. The Admin mode gives you full access to the configuration. 


Introduction

The Admin mode is a further security access level to the censhare functionality. It is available for the censhare Client, censhare Web, and the censhare Admin Client. This article refers to the censhare Client.

Prerequisites - Permissions

You need one of the following administration rights to switch into the Admin mode:  

  • All rights: This gives you all rights that you can have in censhare.

  • Admin all: This gives you access the whole censhare Client.

  • Admin Enter mode: This allows you to switch into the Admin mode in the censhare Admin Client and the Admin Client.

Switch into the Admin mode

On macOS:

  1. Login into the censhare Client.

  2. In the censhare Client menu, select About censhare Client.

  3. In the dialog, press and hold the option key and click OK.

On Windows:

  1. Login into the censhare Client.

  2. In the Help menu, select About censhare Client.

  3. In the dialog, press and hold the ALT key and click OK.

Switch off the Admin mode

Repeat the same steps as in Switch into the Admin mode. When you log off, the Admin mode is switched off automatically.

Result

You can switch into the Admin mode and switch it off again.
