Create an empty asset and content to it later.

Introduction

Add and edit the content (asset properties and/or asset files) of these assets later. If you use the   Create asset   dialog to create a new empty asset, you must specify the asset type. If you create a new empty asset in a specific context (in a relation widget, or with the Asset chooser), the asset type is automatically set. If the context allows multiple asset types, censhare ask you to select the desired type.

Try it

  1. In the top navigation, click Create Asset > New asset.
  2. Select an asset type.
  3. Enter a name for the asset. 
  4. Enter a description to provide context for you and other users.
  5. All important data such as your domain is already filled in. Enter or select other properties such as content languages to your needs. The properties that are displayed depend on the asset type.
  6. Click Ok. 
If you create a new asset with the Asset picker, you can only enter a name. To enter and edit additional properties, open the new asset in an asset page and edit the properties there.
