You can upload multiple files to censhare Web at once. censhare creates a new asset for each uploaded file.

Chunk uploads

If you have a limited bandwidth, or if you upload large files, the uploaded files are split into chunks. The chunks are uploaded consecutively and merged into the original file after the upload.

Resume uploads

In case an upload fails, censhare keeps the chunks that have been uploaded. You can resume it from the last successfully transmitted chunk without starting from the beginning. To do so, just upload the file again. censhare automatically detects the partially uploaded file and resumes the upload from where it failed.

You can adjust the file upload settings in your personal preferences. Define the chunk size and the number of chunks respective files that can be uploaded simultaneously. For more information, see File upload preferences.

When files are uploading, the upload monitor displays at the top right corner. The monitor shows the progress (number of files in queue, current state and total size). You can stop the current upload. This clears the queue and deletes all already partially uploaded files.

Use the Upload & edit wizard to upload multiple media files. censhare creates an Import group asset that contains all files that were uploaded in one action.
Upload folders: You can upload multiple files. But you cannot upload folders to censhare Web. To upload all files in a folder, open the folder on your computer, select all files of the folder, and upload the files.
