File system switches without content updates

With VFS, the content update can be disabled in the corresponding modules.

Introduction

The activated option suppresses automatic content updates if the hash code remains unchanged for the master storage item. Using this option, during check-in, storage items are verified by the Asset Management. Therefore the flag content update flag will be set. So you should also set "Modification mode" to "None" right above in the section "Asset structure" of the modules dialog. The content update can now be suppressed when not needed.

To avoid errors, the checkbox should only be enabled when censhare VFS is active.

To avoid content updates with this option, also set the "Modification mode" from "Perform asset check out/check-in" to "None" under the "Asset structure" section. The default setting of the module dialog changed to "None".
