Google Cloud Video AI (censhare Client)
Prerequisites
Google Cloud Video Intelligence API is a service provided by Google. The use of that service may result in additional costs directly invoiced by Google. censhare does not have any influence nor control on these costs and shall therefore not be held responsible.
Google Cloud Video Intelligence API must be configured in your system.
The Google Cloud Video Intelligence API analyzes are only available for certain asset and MIME types.
You must have the permission to execute all Google Cloud AI analysis or Google Cloud Video Intelligence API.
Context
The results of the analysis of a media file is shown in Features section of the Features tab in the Edit metadata dialogue. It can also been viewed in censhare Web.
The service for Google Cloud Video Intelligence API can be executed manually or automatically. This depends on the configuration of your system.
Introduction
You can analyze, content, images, and videos with Google Cloud AI services in censhare.You can start an analysis manually. Or an analysis can be started automatically. For example, when a preview is generated.
The results of any analysis are shown on the Analysis tab of the respective asset page.
The following functionality is available:
Keywords
Inadequate content check (safe search)
Transcription of the audio track
censhare stores and indexes text from speech detection for an asset in a separate file as text preview. You can search for transcribed text from in a video in censhare.
Google Cloud Video Intelligence API uses the content language of the video asset for transcription analysis in the video. If no content language is set for asset, the default language defined in the censhare system for this purpose is used.
You can set the content language in the Edit metadata dialogue, in the Features section of the Features tab.
Depending on your system configuration, not all functions are available. If one of these settings needs to be changed, contact your administrator.
censhare analyzes the following asset types:
Video assets with MP4 format
Video assets with MOV format
Video assets with AVI format
Video asset with a video-preview storage item in one of the formats above

Execute video analysis manually
In the censhare Client, go to the asset in question in the asset list. You can also select more than one video asset if you want to execute the action for multiple assets simultaneously.
Select Analyze via Google Video Intelligence API in the Server actions menu, either on the top of the Client or from the context menu.
Note: The analysis of a video can be costly. As of that, censhare prevents that videos are analyzed more than once. To force censhare to analyze a video again, download the video, delete the video asset and upload the video file again. Now you can start a new analysis.
Analyses results
To see the results for a video asset that has been analyzed:
Select the video asset in question in the asset list.
Open the Edit metadata dialogue for this asset.
Go to Features section of the Features tab.
Below the tab, you find all Keyword references and the various entries for safe search results.
If you want to download the results of the transcription:
Select the video asset in question in the asset list.
Go to the Files section in the Info tab.
Select the Timed text file and drag it onto a folder on your local system.
A file with the name NAME_OF_THE_ASSET (Timed text).vtt is stored on your system.
You can also view the results in censhare Web.
Result
The Select Analyze via Google Video Intelligence API server action is executed for the selected asset(s) and the results are stored in censhare. You know how to view the results.
