Import sample data
Use the the sample data for dedicated solutions to develop and test your customizations and configurations you import production data into your system.

Context
The import creates sample data for the DAM, PIM and CMS solutions.
Prerequisites
The sample data require the censhare standard workspace for dedicated solutions.
Introduction
To test and develop customizations of the dedicated solutions, we recommend that you use the sample data that are packaged with censhare 2019.3.
Additionally, the import creates assets that populate the PIM system. These assets comprise product features, text and media content, campaign data, quality gates, users, brands, manufacturers and others. For more information, see the Access sample data section below.
Import the sample data
Open the censhare Admin Client.
In the toolbar of the censhare Admin Client, click and select Synchronize dedicated solutions.
In the dialog, select the optional/sample-data directory.
To start the installation, click OK.
The report dialog shows the imported items. If an error occurs, an error report is shown. To close the dialog, click OK.
Access sample data
To access the imported sample data, the installation adds the following stored searches to censhare Web:
Standard: All test assets
Standard: Fashion products
Remove sample data
Before you deploy the production system, make sure that all sample data is removed. To remove the imported sample data, do the following:
In the censhare Client, press CTRL+F (on a Mac: COMMAND+F) to start the search dialog.
Go to the Expert tab.
Create the search Module asset source + like(%) + *sample* and click OK to run the search. The search result shows all assets that were created with the sample data import, including the stored searches.
Delete the assets, rerun the search, and delete the remaining assets until the search shows no more results.
Result
A populated test system with product assets, content assets, media assets, campaign assets, and user assets.
