In this Master data table, you can add and manage asset file types.
Overview
Other than the MIME-type definitions, the filetypes do not specify technical details of physical files, but rather determine the role that a given storage item plays for an asset. In connection with the functionality of certain server modules, it is also possible to create custom new filetypes.
The pre-configured filetypes must not be altered!

Name: visible name of the filetype (in all defined system languages).
