The standard workspace
As of censhare 2019.3, the censhare standard workspace provides preconfigured solutions for asset management, content management, product information management, publication management, and campaign management.
Context
The censhare standard workspace provides optimized asset pages and workflows for the dedicated work areas. The governance model (domains, roles & permissions) is aligned to allow effective collaboration over and between the dedicated work areas.
Overview
The censhare standard workspace of censhare 2019.3 introduces a specific governance model for dedicated solutions. The workspace pages and workflows were optimized to plan, manage and publish your media and product-related content. The dedicated work areas are aligned with organizational and collaboration tools. The new workspace enhances and simplifies the collaboration of different internal and external users. New dedicated user roles allow you to access the domains and grant you the permissions you need to carry out your tasks in censhare Web.

User roles
The new user roles control the access to a dedicated domain and work area. The required permission sets, domains, and workflows are assigned to each role. Depending on your tasks and responsibilities in censhare, one of the following user roles is assigned to you:
Domain management
The new governance model is aligned with the dedicated work areas. As a user, you work in your default domain that corresponds to your work area. In your default domain, you create, edit and store assets. You can view assets in other domains, and move assets to other domains. The common and share domains are accessible to all users. They contain and store assets that are used in your whole organization.
The following default domains represent the dedicated work areas:
Product | Media | Content | Share | Archive |
---|---|---|---|---|
Stores product classification and product assets | Stores media assets | Stores campaigns, content categories, subjects, and content assets | Stores assets that are shared within an organizational unit | Stores archived assets from any of the sibling domains. |
The following domains contain commonly used and shared assets:
Global share | Common resources | CMS* |
---|---|---|
Stores production assets that are available to all below domains (all roles) | Stores resource assets that are available to all below domains (only solution administrators) | Online channel and satellites management (optional - only channel administrators) |
* Online channels are not part of the censhare Dedicated solutions and must be installed and configured separately.
As a user, you work in your default domain. You can assign an asset stored in your default domain to other users in their default domains. For this, the asset must be moved to the appropriate domain.
Move assets to another domain
You can move asset between domains when you edit them on an asset page:

censhare provides workflows for the different work areas and domains. The workflow steps are mapped to the common workflow states as shown in the following table:
